New and Used Pre-purchase and Sell Inspections
If you are buying from a private seller or dealership and don't plan on getting an extended warranty, I highly recommend having an inspection. A lot of times, people and dealerships will sell as is. That means it could have problems that will cost you out of pocket once you sign for it. Wouldn't you rather know what you're getting and be able to have the dealer fix any problems if they want your business? Or if it's a private seller, you may be able to negotiate a lower price.
